Following the procedure, expect your color to be sharper, darker, and bolder than the final result. Once you have healed fully, the pigment will look softer and about 20-30% lighter. The darkest days are typically 2-4. Expect to see redness and slight swelling both in and around the brow/lips/eyelids area.
Avoid sweating, sun, gardening, any recreational swimming, pools, hot tubs, tanning booths and all creams around the pigmented area for 1 week after procedure .

Yes, permanent makeup is a safe procedure when carried out by a professional, experienced artist. As with any cosmetic procedure, it is important to do your research and find a good artist who you like.
The results from your initial permanent makeup procedure will generally last 1.5-3 years with minimal fading. We recommend that you schedule this appointment once you notice that your PMU is beginning to fade, or some areas begin to appear lighter than others.
I will recommend:
1. Always using sunscreen, as sunlight will cause your semi permanent makeup fading
2. Avoid using anti-aging creams in the area, especially the one containing retinol! as they can affect the color
3. Avoid certain skin treatments in the area, such as chemical peels, facial scrubs, laser rejuvenation, microdermabrasion and others.
Refrain from any skin treatments i.e. facials and skin care treatments i.e. lightening, resurfacing, anti-aging, anti-acne type products for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment. Skin treatments will interfere with the healing process of your permanent makeup and may cause unpredictable results.
Short-term side effects of permanent makeup may include swelling, tenderness, and occasional bruising. However, certain areas of the face are more prone to side effects than others.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine 1 day before procedure to minimize any oozing, bleeding or swelling. Do not take coumadin, aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, 1 day prior to procedure.
The risk of developing an infection is higher in people with compromised immune system. Eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis or any one of these skin conditions may compromise the surface and texture of the skin. Procedure performed on skin with these type of condition may have sub par results.
Permanent Makeup is considered as a temporary makeup technique and is not forbidden by any religion including Islam.
The procedure is described as slightly uncomfortable by some and pain free to others, everyone has a different pain threshold but for most people they are surprised at how little pain there is, others have been known to fall asleep! Clients are never rushed and appointments are booked with this in mind so i can give each individual enough time.
Procedures take between 1 1/2 – 2 hrs, this includes drawing on time for the initial procedure where the eyebrows or lips will be drawn on and the procedure will not be started until myself and the client are happy with the shape and style. I always say to allow yourself 2.5 hrs in total.
All pigments are made of natural minerals and are selected for the safe, non toxic, hypoallergenic properties.
I have collagen lip fillers/botox injections, can I still have a Permanent Makeup treatment? Yes, however we recommend you wait at least 4 weeks after lip fillers and 2 weeks after botox to settle, ideally it would be best to have your permanent makeup treatment first.
You will be given a sterile Vitamin A&E cream sachet which you should apply twice daily (eyebrows and lip treatments only) this will help with the healing process. For eyeliner and Eyelash enhancement treatments the area should be cleansed gently with warm water and a clean cotton bud.
